The UK’s biggest growth in renewables
Each year our green % goes up as we build more and our brown % goes down as we buy less of that. We forecast/promised 30% for last year and have delivered 37% - and we’re proud of that.
Our forecast for the year we're in right now is that we'll reach 50% green in our mix. Real progress especially against a fast rising number of customers - a moving target.
All UK suppliers are set a target to increase the amount of renewables they supply by just over 1% a year. Most fail to achieve even this lowly target, even though they claim green kudos in their marketing. We've has grown our renewables by more than thirteen times the national target rate!
